ローマ発のバッグブランド「デ クチュール（DE COUTURE）」を手掛けるマッシモ・マリオッティ。「デ クチュール」は、「ヴェルサーチ」「チェルッティ」など数多くのファッションブランドでコンサルティングやデザインに携わったマリオッティ社長が、2005年に設立。「ブランド名通り、クチュール的手仕事にこだわった」という手作業によるチェーンとレザーのかぎ針編みが特徴だ。

Massimo Mariotti is the creative force behind the Rome-based bag brand "de couture".
He founded the brand in 2005, drawing on his extensive experience providing consulting and design services for numerous fashion houses, including Versace and Cerruti.
True to its name, the brand emphasizes artisanal craftsmanship, featuring signature designs that combine chain elements with hand-crocheted leather.
"I believe that the authentic 'Made in Italy' quality will resonate with Japanese consumers, who have a keen eye for detail and fine craftsmanship," Mariotti says, expressing optimism about expanding the brand's business in Japan.
Currently, the brand is sold at approximately 20 locations in Italy, with a retail presence that extends across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.
